Rakhee and Ronak met in the most serendipitous of places – the library as dental students in Philadelphia. They began their relationship as friends from opposite coasts (he from California, she from New Jersey) who shared study spaces, until they were soon spending time together without the guise of exams. Their relationship reflects their strong friendship, rooted in respect for each other’s quirks and individual interests. Rakhee and Ronak’s traditional Hindu wedding at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ was just as much a celebration of their loving family and friends as it was their love. Guests enjoyed a weekend which incorporated many Indian cultural traditions, culinary dishes, and music. The brightness and boldness of Indian culture stands on its own, but each portion of Rakhee and Ronak’s wedding had a touch of the authenticity and simplicity that is true to them.
